Do you MLS? {October’s Marketing Challenge}

One very easy way to get new leads from your website is to host your local MLS on your website. Last month I highlighted two services that easily let you add software to your website to host the MLS. These services also allow your prospects to create an account and save their searches on your website. This is an excellent lead for you! You know approximately where your lead is searching, what price range and in some cases their purchasing time frame.

Email Sign Up: Most MLS IDX services will automatically email your prospects any new houses that match their criteria. Prospects will sign up for this because they like to be the first in the know when they are looking for new homes.

Request Info on a Property and/or Schedule a Showing: When a prospect is searching the MLS and find a property they like, they can simply fill out the contact form that is on the listing and request more information directly from you. This is a hot lead that is interested in you potentially showing them the property!

By creating a user friendly site that helps prospects find their new home, you will be sure to generate a lot of new leads from your website. You also give your prospects a reason to come back to your website which also gives them the opportunity to get to know you better!
